As a financial planner, I would not recommend a stock to someone unless i knew them & their personal situation. That said, KFC is part of YUM! Brands ( Stock symbol YUM ).

Knowing how much americans love to stuff their faces with crappy fast food, I would suggest taking a good look at this stock. It trades 20 times earning with a 2% dividend.... The only negative thing to take into consideration is that the raw product costs are moving higher, fast. That said, if they can transfer some of the higher costs to the consumer, they should do very well in 2007.

Is that the answer you were looking for? LOL!

I hope the key motivating factor in investing is not based on a time or period of time alone. Some foods, businesses are cyclical, then most businesses are. Look at past growth and future potential. Look at company performance over paste periods of time. Look at yahoo stocks and see what the trends are. Food will always be in need but how does the company function internally? What is the corporate culture like? Good products have been ruined by bad managers. So do some research and good luck.

Pepsi owns KFC. They also own Pizza HUT More pizza is sold on Superbowl Sunday than any day in the year. The are alos blitzing the commercials and expect a spike in sales due to promos. May be good time to buy.

I dont know, its going to be Valentines day. Lots of people will be going there. Didnt you see that Flavor of Love episode where he took her to KFC for dinner. Im not racist either so dont even start. Id rather eat at KFC for like 20 bucks then go to Red Lobster and spend 100. Im sure with the super bowl this month it will be busy too with their buckets of chicken.

actually, you should have bought them in January when they were cheaper... sales of KFC bowls will skyrocket in the second week of February, and stock will reach an all time high. Sell your stock after Feb. 16th, right before it plummets

My honary British friend, I am forever grateful that your country has given us KFC. Nothing beats a bargain bucket on a cold winter evening. Tell me does our menu differ from yours? And before you start, I have perfect teeth. My dentist (yes the only one in the country), says that I have a perfect arch, whatever one of those are. I apologise on behalf of Tony Blair for his teeth, they are not wholly representative of our entire society.

Thank you for listening and God Save the Queen.
