im trying to figure this out for a science project. does anyone know if it has zinc in it? we are doing a rusting experiment and my nail that i coated in hoof polish turned purple but my other nails didn't.
please help!!!!!!!!!!

pine tar, fish oil... it's the "other ingrediants" which you are probably interested in... I guess you figured out that it isn't good for your horse's feet! There should be a 1-800 number on the lable somewhere. Call and ask - tell them what your doing and that it's for school, and they should be fine with that... don't tell them you suspect that their product is BAD (even though it does dry out the hoof).

I know it has turpentine in it. Hope this helps.
