We dont drink hot tea in the states really..it is quite seldom and not a part of daily culture like in the UK so its far from perfected for us. Growing up,I only did so once in awhile in the winter. Americans are a coffee nation as far as hot drinks go. My husband is English and now I drink about 4-5 cups of tea a day year round so I am nearer now to making a half decent brew

My cup of brew is coffee. I make a pretty decent pot..If I do say so myself. If you are talking about tea...then I will have a tall glass of strong iced tea with lots of ice. Unsweetened. I put equal in my tea to sweeten.

Let us in on the secret to making the perfect cup of tea. How do you do it

My American cousin asked the same question when she and her husband came up north to visit me. So being the tea drinker, and the best tea maker in the family, it was up to me to make them some good, hot Red Rose. Only in Canada, pity.
