Borley Rectory is supposedly extremely haunted. It burnt down a while back.

We have a TV show called Most Haunted here. The more eventful episodes were filmed at:

* Michelham Priory
* Dalston Hall
* Spitbank Fort (hard to get to)
* The Jamaica Inn

Pendle Hill in Yorkshire was a very eventful investigation. It'a a very, very scary place to be though. Even by day.

There are many more that I've forgotten about. Check this site:

Epping Forest is a very good place. There is a hill that you park on the slopes upwards so if you take your hand brake off you should roll backwards but you don't. Your car goes up the hill which is quiet spookie. There is also an old mental home at the top of the hill.
Happy hunting
