No, unless you have been watching their body language and how they interact with other people (and are adept at spotting subtleties in those things) just by looking it's pretty much impossible.

I think you just accidentally stated the definition of prejudice. However, thats not to say you cant make some non-value judgments based on appearance alone. We all do it, and it is marvellously accurate.

What you can ballpark from looks (that of course is 50% clothing, 50% pure personal characteristics like grooming, gait, behavior, and skin health) are the veneer qualities- financial status, health, possibly educational level, confidence/self esteem level and even sometimes smoker or drinker. Remember that this is HEAVILY influenced by the cultural norms in which you live. Some of these are downright opposites in some parts of the world.

Unfortunately, there is nothing you can see on the outside of a person that tells you what is on the inside of that person. The only way to know whether you should like or trust somebody is by getting to know them.

Sometimes I think your first impression of a person is the correct one.If you try to evaluate someone ,that usually changes your opinion of them. And most likely, you do.You think,"Well maybe I better give it a little more time to form an opinion of this person". That just means you are going to talk your self out of your first impression.Don't do it !Don't trick yourself. Somethings telling you about this person, the first time you met them.Does that sound logical?

Yes and I say this from my 11 years as a bartender. You had to know how to judge a person when they first walked in. How they walked, how they dressed, if they looked at you in the eyes and how they talked to you. I know people say that you can't judge a book by it's cover but you can judge people.

'Good'? Good at what? Good in who's opinion? What is good beyond an entirely subjective value judgement?

The only thing you can tell about being 'good' by looking at someone is whether or not they're a 'good' dresser.

What you can check for is actions. Words don't mean anything. Check to see those who know the person and what they have to say. Ask as many people to come to a right conclusion.

Not really! Ever heard the saying "you can't judge a book by looking at the cover"? From what i've noticed in my life that is so true.

Yes, I can. Here are some things that can tell you that a person is bad:
Tattoos
Piercings
Eyes that appear sleepy
Eyes that are "shifty"... constantly looking around
Anyone wearing a police uniform
