So lets say I am worth 500,000 dollars and i get into a serious accident. Should I be sued all that money? Now on the other hand, lets say I am only worth 5000 dollars. Should i be sued all that money?

I don't think it matters what a "person is worth", or how much they have. It all depends on the type of accident, who caused it and what the results were from the investigation. The amount is generally based on the damage and the cost it takes to fix the problem.
