I want a serious breakdown of position matchups. Do not base it on the amount of key players but basis of talent. Can Chauncy Billups do well against stene nash or tony parker not steve nash and tony parker? Measure on Scoring (inside and outside), defense, assists, rebounds. Who has the upperhand, then give me the final score. On spots that say or..... it's up to you who you want to start. Good Luck. I'll take the 7 most agreeable answers and create who won the playoff match.

PG
Nike - Steve Nash or Tony Parker
Adidas - Chauncy Billups

SG
Nike - Kobe Bryant
Adidas - Gilbert Arenas

PF
Nike - Rasheed Wallace or Shawn Marion
Adidas - Kevin Garnett

SF
Nike - Lebron James
Adidas - Tracy McGrady

C
Nike - Amare Stoudamire
Adidas - Tim Duncan

So Far, Nike is winning out. I agree with most of you except for this. I kinda weigh Arenas over Kobe. If you recall, the beef between Kobe and Agent Zero is because Arenas poured 60 points when guarded by Kobe. Kobe complained about it by saying Arenas has no conscience and took shots that good players wouldnt take. Advantage: clearly Adidas. Kobe can't guard Arenas.

PG-This match-up has to go to Steve Nash, he's everything a PG should be. Controls the tempo, distributes the ball, makes the shot when it's needed. There's just no way that Billups would be able to out play him. Advantage Nike
SG-Arenas is on a tear right now, and Kobe has all the sudden matured into a team player. Even though Arenas is scoring a lot of points you have to remember that Kobe is one of the best defensive players at his position. Advantage Nike
PF-I personally don't really care for KG, but if put on a team with other scoring options I think he could be a very good role player. Rasheed wouldn't be able to do anything against him offensively or defensively. Marion would be the better match-up, but in the end I think KG is just too versatile. Advantage Adidas
SF-Lebron is the complete package. His jump shot is continually improving, he's strong, and he's got great court vision. I think he would just overpower McGrady. Advantage Nike
C- This is probably the easiest pick. Duncan is just head and shoulders above Stoudamire. Don't get me wrong, Stoudamire is going to be very good over time. But Duncan is just too smart to be out played by young talent. Duncan is Mr. Textbook. He's not very exciting, but I can't think of very many players in the history of the NBA that I would rather have at the post for my team. Advantage Adidas.
So just based on the players and match-ups I would have to go with Nike. Although I think it would be a great game to watch, much more interesting than what the all-star game is shaping up to be.

Defenitely Team Adidas because just look at the match ups Tim Duncan is vet who can shoot the ball and play on the defense Amare is just there to make Nash look good. Tracy McGrady can create his own shots and with two of the best rebounders in the leauge on your side its hard to lose. Shawn Marion isnt good enough for The Big Ticket. Gilbert Arenas is just having a amazing year. Personally if these two met each other in the offseason they would kill each other because Kobe Bryant said that Gilbert Arenas just takes random shots that offened Arenas and now every time he shoots he says Quality Shot instead of Habachi or whatever he used to say. The PG position is totally dominated by the Nike team i dont think Billups is a true PG.

Nike would win.
but it would be a close call.

Nash is a better point guard than Billups, even though I hate Nash and like Billups. He's the one getting more than 10 assists and 20 points and winning mvp.

Kobe is better than Arenas, Arenas is just good this year, Kobe's always the better player and he's the best.

In power forward position, I think Adidas have the advantage, Wallace isn't so good, Marion is more like a SF.

Lebron James is the newest star, he's better than T-Mac, that, probably every one agree on.

Center, Close call, Soudamire is back, let's see if he can stay that way, Duncan is good too, but I see him as a PF.

If there is a game like that, it would be cool, Nash could get them all together and Nike would win.

That's a real great question I'd have to go with Team Nike just because they have a 2 time back to back MVP (steve Nash) who can set up everybody on his team with great passes that not too many other guards can pull of, mix that with a guy who dropped the second Highest points in NBA History in (Kobe Bryant) Then you add Arguably one of the fastest, strongest most versatile Players in the League in (Lebron James) Then you throw in (Jermaine O'neal) Who Leads the Entire League In Blocked Shots,Then Finally you put in Amare Stoudamire who's a Beast on the inside and who can dominate the paint on offense and D.

So my Starting five would be:

PG Steve Nash

SG Kobe Bryant

SF LeBron James

PF Jermaine O'neal

C Amare Stoudamire

Team Adidas will obviously win because of the balance of offense and defense (except T-Mac), and everyone passes the ball.

Team Nike will win the CLIO awards, the Slam Dunk contest, and the Best Muse.
