I felt mine move at 15 weeks, but it was really early. My husband was feeling it by 19 weeks. They say between 16-20 weeks, and some ppl dont feel it until 22 weeks. Dont worry to much. If you do get paranoid about the well being of the baby, go to your doctor and listen to it. That will reasure you that everything is fine. It will happen, and when it does you will love it.

Sometimes the early kicks feel like gas bubbles moving around; it's been compared to a "popcorn popping" feeling.
Eat a snack and drink some juice or milk and then lay down and relax, you'll probably feel the little nudges and you'll know for sure it's your baby moving around!

I was around 20 weeks when I first notced the baby kicking if felt alot like trapped wind but as the weeks go on the movements are more defined, I remember waking up one morning with a foot just under my rib, it felt amazing.

It feels absolutely magical!!!!!!!
Give it another 3 weeks and you'll know for definite what it feels like, its different when its your 1st and not sure but when you have your 2nd you'll know much sooner.
Have you thought about buying a doppler, you can get them on ebay a lot cheaper than the shops. Is great to listen to the heartbeat at home and to let your husband hear if like mine he couldn't come to your midwife appts.
Good Luck with the rest of your pregnancy. Gxx

The first sensations I felt were similar to little tidal waves in my stomach. They progressed to something similar to small popcorn kernals "popping" in my stomach, and now I feel strong nudges and kicks. They probably are kicks, and they'll get stronger over time. I'm almost 23 weeks and started feeling them at 18 weeks.

With my first child I didn't feel anytghing because I didnt know what I was supposed to be feeling. With my second I felt the first flutters at around 16 weeks and kicks a little later on at around 19 weeks.
Everyones different so It's hard to say really, but if you are at all worried go speak to your midwife about it

it feels wonderful, you know if its your baby and not just wind!!
wait till you can feel little hands and feet trying to push your ribs out, its so amazing being pregnant even some of my midwife friends who have been midwives for 15yrs still think its the most amazing experience to see a baby being born and how much their mum loves that little bundle. Enjoy these weeks, and good luck with the baby when she arrives

Mines felt like butterflies at first to, then same as you like a little nudge now and again, then eventually his kicks became stronger and keep me wakened at night, thats when he seemed to be most active, and he`d move about like mad when i was in the bath.My sis could feel her son`s hiccups inside her.
