Not safe. especially your navel, didn't you see the story about the girl who's mother ended up getting arrested because her 19 year old daughter got a navel piercing and it got infected, the girl goes from weighing 125 to weighing 95 pounds, she almost died. And because her mom didn't seek treatment sooner she was arrested. So be careful, go have a professional do it.

you came to the right place for a question. And peircings aren't very safe if you do them by yourself there is always a greater risk of infection.

I pierced my brothers ears. Quite interesting to hear the crunch after it gets through the cartilage. It's safe.. as long as you clean it.. and disinfect it daily for about 6 weeks.

However.. it is A LOT more painful to do it yourself... most places are free these days.. as long as you buy the ear-ring.. and since you have to buy the piercing ring anyway.. why not just let them do it?

Not safe at all. Why in the world would you do it yourself anyway? Your trying to save 10 bucks or something? Come on!

Me personally i do not think that it's safe. I had all my piercings done professional i didn't want to take a chance on mine getting infected. Theres a neighbor girl who thought she'd be cool and pierce her body herself...well they became infected. So do it safe & get it done professionally...

Not safe at all. Let someone that knows what they are doing handle it in a clean and sterile place. - E

It is not safe at all. Anywhere other than ears you could puncture a blood vessel. Let the pros do it for you.

I think you'll be alright, but I would definitely suggest going and having it done by a professional and guys shouldn't get their Nave pierced, it's kind of girley.
