When she was born I signed an acknowledgment of paternity thinking that it did not really make any diference if the child was mine, I was going to be with her mother either way. Now her mother has left the country and told me that the child is not mine, but I still have to pay child support. I was not sure if there was a way to force her mother to get a patenity test to prove that I am not the father?

You will need to talk to a lawyer. Might cost some money yes, but if you don't seek legal help and the child isn't yours.. you're going to be stuck paying child support for 18 years.. weight that.

If the mother left the country way are you paying child support still? Why haven't you taken this information to the child support division in your county. Your paying the state money for a child in she not even in the country. You need to end this now. In if the child is not yours how are you going to prove that now with the child out of the country. What were you thinking? If you were my son I would slap your head. Why you sign something like that.Thinking you were going to be with this women for ever. I know at time you thought you were. Yes we all think that when were in love. But you don't ever sign anything that you have to pay something that's not yours. Your paying a other mans bill. Gee can you come pay my bills. You really need to find a lawyer for child support or if you can't afford one go to legal aid. or go to Handelonthelaw.com or www@HANDELontheLAW.COM

Why in the world would you assume that you would be with the mother? There's only a 34% in this country that a man will end up actually having the family for which he pays either way.

Get a lawyer. Even if the child is not yours, chances are, you will still end up paying child support. Welcome to America!
