6x-15x-6=4-4x

-10=5x
x=-2

you foil (multiply) out the numbers next to the paranthesis wiith the numbers inside the paranthesis.

3(5x+2)= 15x+6..... 4(1-x)= 4-4x

after this, you simply add the like sides.
all the x's to one side, all the real #'s on the other.
and then you have the fraction as the answer.

You need to group all the x's together so you can solve for them. multiply the 6x-3 through the 5x+2 and the 4 into 1-x. Then work it from there to get the x's on one side and the numbers on the other. MIGHT need the Pythagorean equation.

BTW 6x times 5x is NOT 30x, it's 30xsquared.

Write this down with me; First, you do the operations in parentheses...these things ( ). These mean that you take what is on the outside next to them, times EVERYTHING inside of them...for example A(B+C)= AB+AC. So, take -3 times 5x, which gives you -15x. Then there is a +, then do it again...-3 times 2, = -6. Now on the left side of the equal sign you should have 6x-15x-6. Do the same thing on the right side of the equal sign...4 times 1 = 4, and 4 times -x = -4x...put it together to have 4-4x. Now combine the whole equation to have 6x-15x-6=4-4x. Combine all the "like" terms (stuff with x's and stuff without), and rearrange a bit, and you should get -9x-6=-4x+4. Let's get rid of the -6 on the left side...so we ADD 6 to BOTH sides, giving us -9x=-4x+10. Now let's get rid of the -4x on the right side by ADDING 4x to BOTH sides...this gives us -5x=10. Now to solve for x we have to get rid of the -5. We do this by DIVIDING BOTH sides by -5. This gives us x=10/-5 which we know to be x = -2 !

Hope this helps...good luck !

Distribute
6x-15x-6=4-4x
Combine like terms
-9x-6=4-4x
Isolate x
-5x=10
x=-2

first solve the products:6x-15x-6=4-4x

then
6x-15x+4x=4+6
finally
-5x=10
and x= -10/5 = -2

first open the brackets, you get
6x - 15x - 6 = 4 - 4x
then seperate the x terms and the numbered terms
6x - 15x + 4x = 4 + 6
add them together
-5x = 10
divide both sides by minus 5
x = - 2

distribute 4 into the parenthesis to make 4x+20<6x+6. then combine like words by using subtracting 4x from the two factors 4x-4x+20<6x-4x+6 then that's 20<2x+6. After which you subtract 6 from the two factors and divide by using 2. 20-6<2x+6-6 that's 14<2x. You divide 2 to the two factors(earlier reported) and then that's 7

ok, well first you have to multiply out the brackets
then you collect the like terms together.
then you find the side with the most xs n try n get all the xs on that side. what you do to one side you have to do to the other. for example if it was 4+2x=3x to get rid of the 2x take it away, becuse you have done this you have to do it to the other side aswell so you would end up with 4=x
hope thats clear enough!
