Is it really 38 degrees fahrenheit in Melbourne, Australia? I thought it would be much warmer than that cause it's summertime in Australia.

No, we are in Celcius down here like every other country in the world we are on the metric system, you must be an American still on the old system, we learnt both and switched over 30 odd years ago. In summer in Australia the temp is goes from 27 deg Celcius to 42 Deg C. Thats about 108 in your langauge.

I lived there for 10 years and I loved it but then I moved back to Country WA, which I also love but for different reasons. If I were going to move back to Melbourne I would need a lot of money because it is an expensive city and I refuse to live in a box.

That's right. It is summertime here. And by the way, we use celcius in Australia.

G'day,

Australians use Celcius standard instead of Fahrenheit. Therefore it was 38C, not 38F. That translates to 100.4F, which is pretty warm for summer.

Hope this helps
