Control is limited.

I think of it as driving my car ( I love my car - Guy ). Anyways, I can make plans and then drive to get there. Most of the time my plans are withing the boundaries of laws (natural, spiritual, law-abiding, and scientific) - therefore, since I followed the rules, I got where I wanted to.

However, If I were to say that I want to drive a straight line from Seattle Washington to Salt lake City, then my vehicle (a convertible) would be challenged while I went over mountains, and through streams & rivers. There is a good probablity that I would not make this trip in a timley manner. I would expect flat tires, flooded engines, and possibly rolling my poor car.

Also, if i were to say I wanted to drive my car and purposefully hit every pedistian I saw, and running all red-lights ... well, this violates nature, spiritual, and governmental laws. If i did get to my destination, this wreckless driving would probably result in me going to jail, and loosing my control ...

Sometimes there are times when I have no control and life can freak my world out. Like if I were driving and a snow avalanche drug me & car down the mountain ... well, I'm not getting to my destination as planned (if at all) ... or if another person wrecks into my car because they purposefully wanted to drive into everything in their path ... so here my control is gone ... but even when I'm loosing control, hopefully, I took steps to hedge this by wearing my seat belt, having a car with safty features, buying proper insurance, and breathing well during the ordeal.

Again, I will say my control of my life is in my hands; however, I can relinquish the control if I do not use common sense, and follow the rules.

Yes, to a certain extent. I also feel that we are guided in certain directions for spiritual reasons (lessons to learn) and also due to genetics and other factors.
