When I was younger, about 5 or 6, I remember watching this movie about a little boy and an alien who crashed on Earth. It wasn't ET. I am 23 now so it has been a long time since I've seen this movie but it has stuck with me and I've been wanting to see it again.
All I remember is that this alien was a black, or darkish blue or brown color and it had eyes that glowed and turned a bright yellow. the only other scene I remember is that he made things float in the air, in particular a train set that was in the little boys room.
I know it's a vague description, but does anyone know of a movie similar to this?
help with the name?

The olny other movie around that time I can think of with an alien and a young boy is Meatballs 1 or 2, but that is at a camp

This was made fun of on an Episode of Mystery Science Theater. Episode 303. The movie was called Pod People. It was a Spanish Film.

Do only movie that I can recall that a human and an alien is interacting peacefully is " Enemy Mine". Dennis Quaid and Louis Gosset star in it.

I believe the movie is Mac and me. Meatballs took place in a camp setting so i don't think that would be it.

Sounds like a Made For TV knock off of E.T.
I think I saw it too but it was so bad I have blocked it out of my memory.
