I can never find the right bra to hold me up. Most of my bra's just hold me in place and people are always asking me if I'm wearing a bra. So I want to find the right bra that will hold me up so that breast don't look like their just hanging there.

I'm the same size as you: 34DD, 5'3". Here's how I deal with it:

1. Get measured every year at least, but every 6 months is even better. Lingerie shops (Vic's Secret, Frederick's La Senza, even Sears!) can do this for you.

2. Replace your bras regularly. A bra that makes you look saggy is probably stretched out and worn down.

3. Make sure your straps are not too loose. But also don't make them so tight that the underwire won't stay under your bust.

4. When putting your bra on in the morning, bend over at the waist so your back is parallel to the floor and your breasts kinda hang. Settle the wire into place underneath them and fasten the hooks. Adjust your breasts so they sit up a little and this will make them look more pert.

5. Everyone should get some exercise. Make sure your routine includes exercises to strengthen your pectoral muscles (push ups, butterfly, bench presses, etc.). Building strong pecs gives your breasts a firmer foundation to sit on, so they look more perky.

Lastly, if I may make some recommendations. I wear some Vic's Secret bras. They are all shaping or lightly lined. The bra cups already have their own shape and form, so they give my breasts (and yours if you want to wear the same style) a boost. But my regular everyday wearing bras are Jockey cotton underwires. Nothing fancy.

Plenty of web sights that tell you how to measure correctly for a bra.

My birthday was on Monday. Well at the shin dig, a few girls were complaining about their bra. We found a sight and I measured them. After I took precise measurements and did the calculations. A couple of them went up a strap size or two, and down a cup size.

I don't know if they got the new size or not yet. But they know the truth.

Invest in a good bra! Go to Victoria's secret, and have them size you and fit you to a good bra. You'll be suprised with the a huge difference it makes. Sometimes your wrong on your own size. And the quality of bra makes a huge difference with the amount of support you'll receive. They are a little pricey there but.. well worth it.

Find a Victoria's Secret around you. They will professionally fit you for a bra, they aren't cheap, but they last! Most women think they have the right size bra, but would be surprised if they were to get fitted!

Are you wearing a bra with an underwire? That is the only thing that "holds" me up. Try going to romans.com or lanebryant.com they have an excellent choice of bras. Make sure you measure your self before ordering to get the exact size. If your one that doesn't like underwire they have the "racer" back bra's which also provide excellent support for your chest and your back!

Go to a good department store, get measured and fitted and purchase whatever they recommend. It will be an expensive bra for sure but it will fit well.
