I'm planning on having a baby this year, or early next. I would love to be able to work from home part time. But most online jobs where you can work from home seem like scams! (surveys, typing, etc.).
I'm a certified insurance agent with my P & C license. I'm willing to get my Life and Health if it will help with my job search. I live in South Carolina, in the Columbia area.
I do not want to have to leave my house for work purposes though. I've heard that medical coding and billing is okay to do from home, but what would I need to do that? And does it pay any good. I'm making a pretty nice penny as an agent now. I dont' want to step down in the food chain too much.
Please give me serious answers and advice.
Thank you.

Realistically, there is unconditional love, but it's not what many think it to be. It isn't having erotic feelings for the rest of your life about the same person. You kinda have to choose to love someone through the thick and thin. That is what true love is. Anyone can get horny about things, but it takes LOVE to keep things together. Though it isn't a realistic example, here's a good line from The Notebook that gives a gist of what I'm saying: "So it's not going to be easy. It's going to be really hard. We're going to have to work at this everyday, but I want to do that, because I want you" -Noah Anyways, I hope you understand. It isn't really a feeling, its the strength and the choice to care about that person, whether your emotions are adoring every second of him/her, or if you are furious at them, you still do what's right for them. In fact, true love means divorcing yourself from your feelings sometimes.

If you are already in the insurance field, would you consider adding another insurance, that will allow you to set yourself up to stay home with the baby? I am sort of in the same boat. I am a teacher though, but I plan on having a baby within the next 2 years. I started with this business and am building a team, so when it is time, I can stay home and not have to worry. It is just an idea. Oh, and we are a home based business!

I went to school for billing and coding. I graduated at the top of my class. I still was not able to get a job in that field because I had to have 6 months experience before they would hire me. So luckily I got a job at the ER in the hospital, still not doing medical billing & coding, and then I was offered a job where I interned for billing and coding but that was not the job that I held while working there. So in turn it helped to get my foot in the medical world, but to this day, I have not done billing or coding. Also, in order to do billing & coding from home you have to get contracts from physicians offices or hospitals which is hard when you lack experience. It is also a very tedious thing to study. With the cost of school for this profession, it is just not worth the work! I hope this helps and I wish you luck in the future! Take care! :)

not all online jobs are scams. I'm proof of this. I have been earning over $2,000 a month. this is not a scam. I get my paychecks from clickbank a member of the BBB. They pay me on the 1st and the 16th without failure.
http://www.homesweethomejobs.com has the best legitimate home jobs available and they have all been confirmed to be legit. I am so happy I took the chance.
good luck

One place I could highly recommend is http://www.BitWine.com
BitWine is full of professionals on subjects ranging from medical second opinions, legal help, PC technicians, etc. and we are always looking to acquire more advisors on other subjects. The BitWine interface is very easy to use. It's a downloadable application that allows advisors/clients to interact with each other via video/audio over the internet. Once the interaction is over, you will be payed instantly via your PayPal account. And the best thing about BitWine is that it doesn't charge it's users a commission fee, so any money you make goes directly to you.
If you have any questions, I am an advisor for BitWine and could answer any questions you have. Here's my URL:

There are a lot of scams out there. I decided to stay home when I had my third child last year. I found a great business to start. After losing money to scams that is. I now have my own candle business. I bring home enough money to do my part in supporting the family. There is a lot of money to be made. Go to www.shelbys.scent-team.com for more information if you are interested. You can email me if you have more questions.

There is a website that lists only telecommute jobs. Maybe you can just get a job from home for extra income and keep your current one.
You must have a resume and will have to interview for them, and some of them require you to have previous telecommute experience.
Many of them are sales or jobs where you have to have special skills such as web design but there are some customer service jobs there as well.
More info and job listings in the source
