Chingay is held annually and traditionally during the Lunar New Year. It is a multi-cultural and cosmopolitan parade, preserving the tradition of our Chinese New Year festivities while showcasing the rich diversity of our society.
The parade offers a special and highly celebrated platform for our local community and talented arts groups to showcase their culture and art forms. The participation of our international friends enhances the exotic flavour and cultural richness of Chingay.
Ticketing:
- $45 for gallery seat.
- 10% discount for early bookings by 31 January 2007.
- PAssion Card members enjoy additional 20% discount on tickets (max 8 tickets) throughout the booking season.

Be immersed in the intoxcating mood of Chingay Parade 2007. On 23, 24 Feb Orchard Road will be converted into a big party with colourful floats, flamboyant performers & exuberant dancers. "For the 1st time ever", the 1.2 km stretch of parade will be open for all to enjoy and to party in. There will be 3 zones of parade routes for this year Chingay 2007.

Zone 2 (HIP HOP ZONE):
- Between The Heeren and Meritus Mandarin
This zone will feature hip hopmusic by DJ Koflow and emcee Garuda for partygoers ready to display their bestmoves.
Zone 3 (PlAY & FLOAT DISPLAY):
– From Faber House/Somerset MRT to Orchard Plaza/Killiney Road
This zone will be one big carnival, a spacious adventure land for kidsa nd adults with an exciting inflatables playground of slides, bouncy platform and racing cars.

Ya, chingay is a yearly event as one of the celebration in Singpore... Many visitor thought that is a Gay event but it is not.... It is a very popular event whereby people performing in streets etc...
