How do I make friends and meet people?

I don't know what to say to people or start a convorsation. People always say just talk to them but how do you talk to someone you've never talked to before?

well it is a fear that is always going to be there i mean i dont think that you ever get over that fear !!!! so like the majority said push that fear aside and just try and talk to people as much as you can
