If you have a good job in make about 100,000 dollars a year. Then you would be OK. But if your the average person, living from paycheck to paycheck then yes it's hard to live alone. Besides money it's great. Your your own boss. You have your own freedom. If you leave something on the coffee table or on the kicthen table it's going to be there when you get back. If you leave your c.d in your stereo there going to be there. Not taken out. Things like that, that's when its great to live alone. But the the other hand to it can get lonely at times. But you can find something to do with your time. I think living alone is great. But it could be expensive paying the bills by yourself. If it meant for me to go broke at the beginning of the month because rent was due car payment, food bill, etc..then have some mess with my things in no Private see when I want a man over I rather go broke for a week until next paycheck. Because there's nothing like your private ness.

No, it is wonderful to live alone after you have been in a abusive , controlling, 2 hospital stays over being beaten by the wonderful husband room mate. My prayers were answered he wanted a divorce without killing me first and I live alone and just enjoy the hell out of it. I hear this woman he wanted that set me free is going through the same thing I went through, afraid to leave but she was beaten so bad because she forgot to buy his chocolate chip cookies that she couldn't go to work at her job as a RN.for 2 wks.I curled my toes and night and sleep and so happy the next morning she has him not me. I love living alone.

It is if you aren't used to it *but* being single doesn't mean you have to live alone. After my divorce, I got a roommate. The first one didn't work out well, but the second one was great and we're still close friends even though we don't live together anymore. Don't want a human roommate? Try being an animal foster parent - it will give you company without any committment.

No, it's easier to live alone than with somebody else. But responsibility and living with others enables us to grow in other ways. But it's a good idea to spend some time living alone to learn to do things for yourself.

It better to be alone & be alone than to be with someone & be alone. Living alone has it down side, like when you want to take your boat out,Go diving ,Cooking for 1,Try to decide what to have for dinner, what movie to get .I guess the best is when you leave your house and return nothing has change its the way you left it. It does get guiet at time. Hope this helps

Its hard at first. I remember cried the first night I was on my own. But eventually you start to like it and appreciate all the reasons why you moved alone in the first place. With time, you won`t be able to live with anyone else (like parents or siblings) except when you fall in love....

Really!
