No, it is wonderful to live alone after you have been in a abusive , controlling, 2 hospital stays over being beaten by the wonderful husband room mate. My prayers were answered he wanted a divorce without killing me first and I live alone and just enjoy the hell out of it. Living alone has it down side, like when you want to take your boat out,Go diving ,Cooking for 1,Try to decide what to have for dinner, what movie to get .I guess the best is when you leave your house and return nothing has change its the way you left it. Listen I live alone and yes! you do get lonely,but after awhile you get use to it, plus you get the whole bed to yourself, and you get to watch YOUR! TV programs without fighting over the clicker and furthermore you can walk around the house butt naked! You cant beat that pleasure. So! yes living alone is great on one hand and sad on the other.
