To All You "Corporate Media" opponents...

Isn't Air America corporate media? (that just happen to *cough* go bankrupt?)

Would you rather have full government control over media (up to and including censorship)?

If you take your money and put together a magazine.. or a radio station or tv station wny should you not be allowed to run it how you want? its your money!?

If the flagship lib radio program fails.. well.. whos fault is that?
So now the ones who are successful ( who happened to be conservative programs ) should be forced to foot the bill to give a lib face time ( or voice time ) on their station or show????

How can that in any way be deemed fair???

i do no longer understand why those human beings concern a lot approximately communicate radio or FOX information. They never have an objective audience it quite is greater effective than a million% of the inhabitants. maximum folk of human beings don't have time to fill their lives with political schedule. i think of its exciting that they blame the "mobs" on the city hall conferences on FOX. If I had never watched FOX in my existence, i could be against a central authority run wellness care plan. the government has been attempting to pull that off for 70 years and there has continually been a public outcry.

The liberal biased enabling media is the problem.

They refuse to cover negative news about liberal bedwetting moonbats and refuse to cover positive news about conservatives.

Liberals are unable to win in the market place of ideas. Liberals can't win or be successful without having to cheat.

Liberals want to shut down free speech that the internet and talk radio provide.

Liberals are the new fascists.

Liberals suffer from Bush Derangement Syndrome.

Its real and it's incurable.

When stricken with this incurable disease, liberals minds warp into anti-American terrorist supporting mean spirited bigoted hunks of quivering flesh with an appetite to appear in front of a camera somewhere.

Liberals would gladly sacrifice millions of lives abroad and here at home in they derranged attempt to discredit President Bush.

* "A license permits broadcasting, but the licensee has no constitutional right to be the one who holds the license or to monopolize a... frequency to the exclusion of his fellow citizens. There is nothing in the First Amendment which prevents the Government from requiring a licensee to share his frequency with others.... It is the right of the viewers and listeners, not the right of the broadcasters, which is paramount."

Not true and a gross generalization. I was listening to Stephanie Miller this morning and she had convinced Sean Hannity to call in. Both of them, a Democrat and a Republican, agreed that the Fairness Doctrine is a bad idea. Have a listen ---> http://www.stephaniemiller.com/show/

The policy of the United States Federal Communications Commission that became known as the "Fairness Doctrine" is an attempt to ensure that all coverage of controversial issues by a broadcast station be balanced and fair. You prefer a corporate controlled media?

Chavez threw out the TV station because the company that owned it was starting to interfere with business and government. Who owned this T.V. station, U.S. Media giant Verizon. The U.S. oil companies are mad because Chavez is giving the oil revenue to the people and that drives down world profits.

I'm all for dissent, and I'm all for accountability when a news channel 'makes a mistake', like by calling Foley a democrat...5 times.

The fairness doctrine states that all sides should be represented. What's unfair about that? We've seen an obvious coup of our air waves by the right wing corporate fascists. This is a way to get some kind of balance in the system.
