If the question is: 'What would make it worthwhile to be immortal'? my answer would have to be about remaining healthy (mentally and physically) and fit. It would be important to be able to enjoy life and make the most of what it has to offer.

I can't think of anything worth living forever for. The earth will be eaten by the sun, so there will be no place to live. People just eventually annoy you or get on your nerves.

I can't imagine a scenario where living forever would be good.
