You can use Microsoft Office or Microsoft Word. They usually have templates, if not, you can simply go to their website and download thousands of templates for everything no matter your situation, fresh out of college, entry level, experienced, they have templates for all of them.

Use the resume program on monster.com then if you want to format it a little different all you have to do is copy it to Microsoft Word. The last job I had thought I paid a professional to do my resume and I told them that yes a professional did it, me!

Use MS Word in either a ".doc" or ".rtf". Do not use those programs that use tables. Those are very annoying and distract from your resume. I would just use a simple resume in a functional format.

I always used Word for my resume - and just found a template online and followed it.

Most employers only accept Microsoft WORD.
Easy set up and there are templates.
If you use something else, you'll probably have to convert to Word in order to submit. Also you can create one in workopolis.com or monster.com but it's just as easy to cut and past
