what? why? i dont get it. I loved that movie BOTH of them

There was no "Texas Chainsaw Massacre." Comic strips and movies were inspired by the bizarre crimes and activities of Ed Gein. Texas Chainsaw, Psycho, and Silence of the Lambs, all took one part of Gein's psychosis and devoloped characters from it. Watch the extras on the Jessica Biel Texas Chainsaw DVD and you will see an explanation of it.

Despite being heavily touted as "inspired by a true story," both Tobe Hooper's original 1974 film and the 2003 Marcus Nispel remake are only lightly based on the real-life murderer Ed Gein. I did not find a police report but I found alot of information that is belived to be from police reports at

There are none. The movie was very very loosley based on Ed Giene, who actually only killed 2 people, and not with a chainsaw, and lived in Wisconsin.

Well, I am not sure where you would find those. The movie is based on the killing of Ed Gein. However, a lot of stuff was added and changed. Here is a wiki on him.
