Dyson is hands down better then any other vacuum i've used. But its pricey. If you're looking for something a little more cost conscience eureka is your next best bet

Personally I think Hoover sucks :)

Yep. And I've had great luck with Eureka and now own a Kenmore cannister. I used my dad's and couldn't believe how nice it felt and worked. Then I went online to consumerguides and learned it was rated pretty high. I bought it at Sear's of course...check out consumerguides.com and see for yourself.

Dyson is the best... but if you dont have the $500 + to spend....
I love my Hoover Windtunnel.
Hoover has excellent customer support, easy to find parts... easy to fix...

look for models with covered drive belt... broken belts seen to be the biggest problem with Hoovers...

I have two kids, six dogs, five cats AND am a trainer so have a multitude of long/short/medium coat animals here constantly. No question, Dyson beats ALL other brands - including the pricey Kirby & Rainbow! It's worth every penny of investment!

Dyson....I have 3 Huskies...I vacuum everyday and i works great. I know it cost $500 but I have bought cheaper vacuums only to replace them because they couldn't handle the wear and tear so i don't think i was really saving any money.

I have bought Fantom's since they came out and its great, although the filer has to me cleaned regularly, there is SOOO much it picks up, the tiny dust particles stick to this filter and must be banged/cleaned out.
They are also affordable. Like $60

I've had all of the ones you listed. They all stink. Go with a Dyson..I've had mine for a while now and still works as good as the day I bought it.

Everybody has their favorite. Check out 'consumersearch.com' they have reviews on all types of vacs. They ask what features you want and your price range. But keep in mind that this is one of those areas that you get what you pay for......
