Babys R Us and Target have some beautiful baby furniture. I am drooling over this cherry sleigh crib I saw at Babys R Us this morning. It turns into a day bed and then into a regular bed. I'd go with something like that for a crib, and it wasn't a bad price either.

Babies outgrow their furniture at an alarming rate. It would be in your best financial interest to go to a consignment store, or K Mart, Wal Mart...someplace cheap. The stuff might be cheap, but it's durable enough for what you need.
Baby furniture, in general, is way overpriced.
