Absolutely. If you're not co-dependent when you get married, then you become co-dependent over time. And the longer you stay married, the worse it gets. Didn't you ever see two old married people going on and on arguing back and forth, and you think it's funny? That's co-dependence at its best. My grandparents were very co-dependent in a cute way!

what exactly do you mean? do you mean like swingers? or do you mean seperate bank accounts? if you mean just being independent. I think yes but it depends on the couple, it must be done with generosity. If you can be independent and generous, I think that is the trick.

I assume so, me and my gf, well now my ex as of a hour ago, were. We were together for 6 years, so I would assume a married couple would be.
