the obituary is for my father-in-law and I've looked under every paper that would print it but most of them don't go back that far. I'm trying to start a family tree thing with my son and would like to be able to get a copy of the obituary. i can't even find it in the archives section of the newspapers.

I'm not sure if it would be on the internet. Try looking in the local library where he lived. My local library carries archives of newspapers on a machine you can scroll through. You can print them out too.
