Well not every woman gets heartburn. But if you do you can take Tums or Zantac. If it gets really bad, I had to take shots of ICE cold milk along with the medicine to help me.

Not always true, but possible!

Congrats and Good Luck!

Not everyone gets heartburn I am 4 months pregnant and I haven't had the heartburn problem yet although with my last 2 pregnancies it was aweful I had no morning sickness and stayed with heartburn this time its total opposite but the best thing I found that helped was rolaids or milk if you can stomach the milk good luck!

Then maybe you wont get it....My heartburn stopped when I reached the 3rd trimester, I still get it, but not as bad as I did in the 2nd trimester....Nothing you can do to prepare for it. When I had heartburn really bad it didnt matter what I ate or didnt eat...I just always had heartburn

I was around 20 weeks too. It seems like all I can eat is cold stuff or I will have miserable heartburn. Drinking milk helps mine too.

Not everyone gets heartburn when they are pregnant. Hopefully you will not get it. If you do - stay away from spicey foods and keep your meals small - don't over eat. Good luck!

You may never get it. I never had it with both of my pregnancies. The people that do get it usually get it later in pregnancy after a big meal because there's not a whole lot of room for food. Eat smaller frequent meals.
