Question

I have installed Sony CD-RW CRX215E1 in my computer and am facing a problem during nero writing as in the message box it is written "Could not perform fixation-Session fixation error. Please help me sort this problem as I want to write my images and text on CDs.
Moreover , I am doing this job since past one year.
Hope your advice in this connection would help me in sorting out my problem.

1. Try different media (Sony or Verbatim).
2. Try to burn at a lower speed.
3. Try the newest version of Nero
4. Check to see if an firmware update is available for you writer

Some optical drives do not like to be paired with other optical drives.

In case you have IDE hard drives, this is how you should have them connected:

Primary Master: hard drive with OS
Primary Slave: CD-ROM
Secondary Master: CD-Writer
Secondary Slave: the other hard drive

Use only Master/Slave settings on the drives, do not use Cable Select.
