The old folks would say your baby is going to have a head full of hair. Speaking from experience ..3 times..lol.. it's true. I had mad heartburn with my 3 and all had a head full of hair. If the over the counter stuff isn't helping tell the doctor, they might be able to offer relief.

Yes, it is OK. I had heartburn all the time with my first pregnancy.
Zantac and Tums would only work some of the time. I ended of having to take shots of ICE cold milk. It did wonders for me. You can ask your Dr. if there is anything stronger you can take, but they will probably just tell you the basics. Like don't lay down right after you eat, eat 4 or 5 small meals a day instead of 3 big ones. Try to drink your liquids after you eat instead of during.
Hope this helps. Congrats and Good Luck.

I had heartburn with both of my pregnancies from about 6 weeks until the day that they were born, So bad that it would make me throw up. Im talking 24 hours a day full blown heartburn. I tried everything from tums, medication, milk, licorice. etc... Nothing worked. I think that some people just have to suffer through it. I hope that your not the same as me. Good Luck.

Tums and Rolaids never worked for me. I would get heartburn so bad that I thought my chest was going to explode. My husband would mix me up some warm water and baking soda (I don't know if that is good for you during pregnancy, something about the sodium intake) I would drink it and burp a cople times and feel great afterwards, unless it was REALLY bad then I would just throw up and be happy! Heartburn suck but sometimes if you drink alot of water it helps too.

This is part of being pregnant. Tell your doctor and they can prescribe you something for it until you have the baby. I'm sorry, I had heartburn and it was terrible. Hopefully, you child will have alot of hair. That is the old saying. Mine did.

have you try milk any kind it smooth out that feeling
what I use to do because that was my scenarios take time and
alittle at time like if i had a lot of food then i would eat alittle
then go back and the eat some more that way my food digest
easy. plus anything greasy dosen,t work for pregnant stomach
because your stomach push up, so everything is tight.
have you try to eat non heavy foods like fruits, or cereal/milk
anything with acids like tomatoes, soda, oranges, lemon, vinegar
no,no,no.s bless you and your baby.
