Tell what news agency really broke the stories you're carrying instead of pretending you broke the story
Start treating the public less like idiots, maybe less people will continue behaving like idiots then
Don't not tell us something important for fear of government censorship
Cover at least 2 sides of every issue you report on

I would tell them how great Shriners are. They are the men that stand on the streets collecting money and wear the little funny hats. They support Shriners Hospitals for Children. There is no cost to the parents/patient. It is 100% free of charge for crippled and burned children until the age of 18. The Shriners provide housing, transportation and meals for the patient and the family. It is run on donations, wills and gifts.
The Shriners do have a good time but they also work very hard for the children. If you would like more information please contact me through my avatar...Thanks

Report on things that are important! I don't want to spend any more time wondering what 'evil man' Hillary was talking about or (local issue of the day) why a local school district didn't call school off due to inclimate weather! We can talk about those types of things all day, but at the end of that day, nothing has changed! Everything is overanalyzed these days. I especially get anoyed when the media becomes part of the story!

The reason super near death skinny is in is because some of the most influential media personnel (behind the scenes with power) are pedophiles.
Reason: When women over exercise (gymnasts & ice skaters) and under eat they force their bodies to become "pre-pubecent" ... which is what attracts pedophiles. Since mainstream society is against pedofila (good reasons) the influential media ppl are side stepping this by setting the standard for work to those women who can force their body into being "pre-pubcent".
This is sparking those with the pedophile condition to be more aggressive and stalk through the internet, and into international territory where having sex with babies & childreen is overlooked.

To start being fair in their reporting - stop showing only the negative throughout the world and show the positive as well. Talk to any soldier that has been to Iraq and they'll tell you a different story than what we see on the news.

I'd tell them this: I know it seems that the best way to make a profit is by sensationalizing everything, but in no time time people will become desensitized to the point where nothing will be good enough for them. Tone it down, or you'll soon find yourself in a position where nothing you can produce can satisfy anyone.

I'd tell them to report on the strengths of women.
I'd tell them to stop telling women they are victims.
I'd tell them to stop feeding us with the misconceptions that every man is a potential rapist or murderer.
I'd tell them to report on domestic violence against both sexes.
I'd tell them to champion a good cause rather than glorify the bad in the world.
I'd tell them to be the ones who fight for genuine equality amongst humans both male and female.
I'd tell them to take a chance once in a while and to court controversy rather than profits and veiwing figures.
I'd tell them to allow people to make up their own minds by being informative without bias and allegiance to one party or another, one multinational or another or one corporate company or another.
I'd tell them to give us factual news rather than opinion.
I'd tell them that if they wont do these things at least have something that they print or broadcast telling the masses that the best thing they could do is take their information with a pinch of salt and to go find the truth of anything they are interested in by researching in more than one place.
Karma.

That adoptions need to be made easier. There are thousands of children that need homes and we make it extremely difficult on people to adopt. You need 10's of thousands of dollars for the whole process to be completed and that's money that can go to child; not to mention people that can't afford that money in one shot but can afford a child long term.
To me, if we cared about these kids like we say we do, we would make it a lot easier on the potential parents that are interested. Some people who want to adopt a child (usually families with their own children) rule it out because of the cost involved in finding a child to begin with.
