I have a cashmere sweater that some douchebag poured wet flour all over. It dried up, and is now caked. How do I remove the flour so that the sweater will still retain its fluffiness?

Most of the big chunks of flour was removed by soaking, but it still has bits and pieces, which makes the sweater harsh.

I have asked around, but I don't know how effective dry cleaning would be for the sweater, nor do i know if it will damage the softness of the sweater.

The sweater is black, in case you're wondering.

Dry cleaning sweaters it doesn't get them clean. Wash the sweater in lukewarm water in a soap-like detergent (Woolite, that kind of stuff) and work it with your hands as it is soaking. The flour should come out.

You only clean cashmere by dry cleaning. They have the chemicals and supplies to remove most any stain. You can always take it by the cleaners and see if they can clean it for you
