Simple...she took an obviously equal role in the presidency and made no effort to hide her involvement. She was not the docile housewife of many past presidents wives. She was involved hands on in policy making. In other words, she was a 20th Century woman...a horrible sin in a world of rednecks stuck in the 50s. LEFTY

Two things happened, she had a commission to examine health care that had neocons screaming about socialized medicine, and she didn't vilify Bill and divorce him. That more than anything was fire on gas to them. They wanted a ring side seat at a very nasty divorce complete with suppose testimony from her about things they wanted to believe he did. They wanted her to act out of spite, when she didn't, they called her a fool or a dupe and then decided she was guilty of her own sins, like hiding her Rose Law Firm papers and then finding them again in the White House, on a table. That one of their own may have planted them there was irrelevant, that they totally exhonerated her of the billing in question that she was accused of was also irrelevant. The point has always been to talk up the accusation and ignore the result. Whitewater for instance had been investigated by four agencies and they had come up with no legal action being taken by them against either Clinton. Yet to this day you have accusations being made that have no bearing on the truth, they are just thrown out there, its a tactic people are finally getting wise to now that its so easy to check things out on the web. You can get all sides of a story, and when you realize that it just requires too much of a suspension of reality to believe all that crap can come to nothing from so many different branchs of law enforcment, then you just stop believing the nonsense, unless of course you need it to bolster a specious argument.

That she didn't divorce him.. basically there are some people (on both sides, but we are speaking about the right right now) who will never give her a chance because she is a democrat and her last name is Clinton.. anything she could ever do or have done will always be wrong .. if she divorced him.. she's not a family woman and not a true christian.. she keeps him.. she's not a strong woman.... they will change their view of their beliefs to whatever they need to be to find a reason to hate her.. we call these people fanatics.

i do no longer hate her the two. yet I do lump her together with her husband. Her politics are the comparable as bill's have been. This u . s . a . has been run via the Bush relatives and The Clinton relatives for 2 many years now! I basically think of that is long sufficient and it's time to attempt something new because of the fact i do no longer think of any of them have been good presidents!

She tried to engineer the government takeover of one of the largest sectors of the economy. Her programme was socialized medicine. Some people had to pay for other people's healthcare. The action or item the government provided would be the one you get, even if you could afford a different action or item.

You know how when you order an appliance from Home Depot if it comes in 3 weeks instead of 2 you're upset? Hillary's plan was analogous to replacing Home Depot with the USSR method of distributing dishwashers.

I see a bunch of unthinking conservative drones have mentioned the non-issue Whitewater.

What really makes people dislike Hillary is that they either disagree with her politics, or more likely, they can't stand a strong woman.
