it depends on my portion size, which I try not to make big. "experts" say to get out of that mind-set because it's not always good to finish your plate. you're supposed to eat until you're satisfied, not full.

My Grandmother told me to always leave a bite of what you liked the most .... that it showed good manners.
She would always ask me "Did you leave your manners?"
I still do it today .... she's been gone for years.
