I think that true soccer fan must watch all games of his favorite club, to know things about football, players, rules etc
And be very passionate fan

A true football fan is the one who, first of all, supports and loves the club from his own country and town and apart from that supports some of the best football clubs from the world(if he wants). A true fan doesn't have to visit all the games of his favourite club, we are not always in situation to do(or afford) that.A true fan doesn't have to be a good football player himself, but he should know at least all the rules.And finally last, but the most important of all, a true football fan has to support and love his club no matter if it is the best or the worst in a league or Europe or World. (people like me, who support a small club that don't play very well in Europe at the moment know what I'm talking about)

I think that being a football fan (soccer) does not necessarily imply great skills with the ball, but rather a passion for the game and a team. A fan is someone who sticks to his team in good and bad times. Not someone who likes Barcelona because Ronaldinho plays there and the changes to Chelsea because they like Shevchenko.

Both can be equally passionate and loyal supporters...It really all depends on certain circumstances. One supporter may be truly gifted with the ball, but is not able to afford to attend games of their favorite club. Another might be absolutely rubbish with the ball, but may have enough money to attend numerous games and support their club.
A true supporter is just one who has a passion and loyalty for the game and their favorite club.
