My favorite of all time, which I still listen to after 20 years, is Depeche Mode, 'Some Great Reward'. Even though 'Master and Servant' is somewhat overplayed, every song on that album is classic to me. Second would be 'Dare' by Human League. Third would be "Substance 1987' by New Order, the obligatory compilation album.
