I skydive every weekend, have 32 jumps under my belt and haven't "soiled myself" once. What will probably happen, is because of the nerves/ excitement/ anxiety, you will 10 to 30 minutes before you jump feel a mad urge to go to the bathroom, where you'll probably do both #1 and #2. I'm telling you, there's no better bm than the one before you jump.

If you do end up soiling yourself, don't be embarrassed or anything. You DID just jump out of an airplane. Most people at the dropzone will understand, the thought of skydiving is scary your first couple of times.

I jump at in Mississippi ( http://www.goldcoastskydivers.com ). We jump from 14,000 feet. I've been jumping there for 6 months and have never heard of anybody having any accidents. It's only scary while you are in the plane and in the door about to jump out. In freefall, it's not scary at all. It's the most fun experience you will ever have. I doubt you will pee on yourself in freefall, because the fright will be over at that point.

Blue skies!

Why do you think you'll wet your pants? It may be a scary experience, but unless you've had bladder control problems in the past, I doubt that you'll lose control here.

If you're really worried (and you're serious) then I'd suggest getting a pair of Depends. No joke.

From my own skydiving experience, I'll say that (a) I didn't wet my pants and (b) peeing BEFORE you get in the plane is a good idea. Not drinking much that day will help, although you should NOT get dehydrated.

The only time I felt the need to urinate was when the 'chute opened. The harness dug into me and the pressure made me think "gee, I'd like to pee." But I didn't. And when I got on the group, I found that I didn't really have to go much.

I never heard of this problem. Skydiving is all about conquering your fear. You'll be given training beforehand so you should be confident enough not to pee your pants.

Go to the bathroom before jumping.

Also, take a class and do a zip-line jump, for your instructor's sake, don't do a tandem jump if you are actually worried about having a mid-air accident.

I jumped a few years back, took a four hour class and jumped by myself without the instructor strapped to my back. Although, I did only jump from about 5,000 feet as opposed to 11,000 thousand and only had about ten seconds of free fall as opposed to a full minute I think if you jump on tandem. With the zip line, there is a cord attached to the plane and when it stretches to its full length the cord pulls the chute for you. BTW, those ten seconds or so, feel like a full minute anyway.

Yep,

If going with others make sure your on top so you drip down on them.. Other wise layoff the beverages before you go and make a rest stop before getting on the plane. If that fails, try a diaper..
