While I do happen to have one, financial planning is about the only bona fide profession that does not require a graduate degree.

Yeah, Go for Court Reporting. It takes only about 2 years depending on how fast you can type. Once you know the basics it is easy. You can go to a private school for that and you can also practice everyday in the convince of your own home and graduate in two years or less. With that you can either go get a job at a court or even try to get a job at a television station doing close captioning. The same machines are used and now a days more channels are in need of Close captioned. It's a booming career. Plus the $ is more than great.

There are nursing schools that only require one to two year degrees.Radiology is a two yr degree as well as Respiratory Therapist and u can also get a two yr degree for Physical Therapist( which would allow you to do some but not all of the therapy, which means you would only make half of what a four year degree would give you.But would still be plenty to live on).

anything vocational - machine shop, welding, CISCO network engineer... all pay over $20 an hour and involve 2 years or LESS of vocational education! Check your local county school board most have programs for adults at REDUCED COST as compared to private schools in your area

Becoming a truck driver doesn't take you long! Good money and benefits the only down fall is your not home every day of the week unless your a local driver.

Most mechanic and electronics careers can be gotten with trade schools. Hell, they have a trade school for almost any career.

You could move to San Francisco, and drive the BART trains, or work as a station attendant. They don't require any schooling and make decent wages.

do you like to cook. most schools for culinary arts are only 4 months, depending on what division of cooking you wish to go into. find the closest culinary arts school nearest you, and look up semester info. hope this helped.

Engineering. One 4 year degree will get you paid for life. High demand for jobs and an aging/retiring workforce that will keep demand high, and salaries high.
