No, there wouldn't have been because, whilst John of Gaunt was the Regent during Richard ll's minority, he was never king. What a fascinating man though.

It appears yes. See source #1.
But during his life? Perhaps, he minted many coins, few survive.

He is depicted on tokens. "medals" but they are later dates.

The second source details such but the text often goes into French and Spanish, one wonders why authors do such. Worse yet it is 14th century French: unreadable by me.

Suspect the book and news journal are at many major University libraries in the UK.
