Did you have on the collar? Typically construction workers are blue collar types without a lot of tolerance for things outside the norm. They may of been having a laugh at your expense.

That happened to me too. Maybe hey laughed histerically becasue they think they made a score with you. It's just a natural thing that most construction workers do. I'm not sure why but I think it's cocky and as if they're trying to project some macho sh*t. Or maybe they're just tired so they watch women passing by and bet who's hotter. It's really annoying and pig-like.

they like to feel powerful over women who walk by their site by making them uncomfortable, and all because they feel embarrased and ashamed to haul morter and bricks and wood for a living. They don't get to walk by the mess and the sweat and the dust of the construction site to go to an air conditioned office - they are bitter. They are no the same as men who take pride in their work. They are low.

they either thought you were hot and somebody cracked a joke about something, or they thought it would be fun to make fun of you. Construction workers are usually pretty rude and don't care about how they make you feel. My hubby and most of his friends are in construction and they make a joke out of everything.

They prolly thought you wouldn't hear them and were embarrassed when you did, or the person that whistled is butt ugly and his boys started dying cuz they knew you were way outta his league!! I do it to my male friends all the time! lol. I'm like "brotha please!! That girl wouldn't want you to poke her if you thought she was dead!!" lmao!
