Hi there. So many people can relate to the same sentiment as you. Me too! I can't remember having a 'proper' childhood. There are so many different reasons why we miss out. But now that I am adult, I am making up for lost time!!!!!! I am in control of my life and my life is now what I make it. So I make sure that I get a load of fun and laughs in along the way. There is nothing stopping you from doing the same my friend. Just remember: 'The people that matter don't mind, and the people that mind don't matter!'
All the best :o) x

I missed out too. I didn't have one in High School, either; missed Prom, and everything. I didn't even have my first relationship until i was 21 and my first REAL one at 26 with a guy who's had a lot of experience and even has a kid. I love him to death, though, and i think he was totally worth the wait, but it does feel a little weird that he's had so much experience when i didn't. But after all of his bad experience, he actually wishes that he could've waited for me, so i'm not sure which is better or worse. But hopefully everyone can find their sweetie eventually though because no one should have to go through life alone.

I did not have one. But my hubby now.. is my best friend and our relationship is like we have known each other all of our life. We can not stay mad at each other no longer than 5 mins.. it is funny just how well we get along.. I would not stress about a childhood sweetie.. because we all grow up and things change. Have a great day!

Not me. I am married to my sweetheart, we met at school and kissed behind the lockers, We have 4 kids and are still very very happy. Our friends are on 2nd and 3rd marriages which is so sad.

I didn't and it taught me that if you are left on the shelf once everybody else has got off, the view is fantastic.
