I look at it nightly.
I think the big question is...... when was the last time I really "saw" it.
I had a friend that meant the world to me that lived in another city. Being miles apart was never easy. There was so little we could share. But the one thing we could share.... was the moon. So at night...... I'd look at the moon and realize that he was seeing the same moon at the same time. It made the world seem so much smaller..... so much more connected. Those miles between us somehow disappeared and I felt he was right there. It truly was a great feeling.
I think since then..... I've never taken the moon for granted again. :)

Just this night when I came home from school. The moon was small from my view though. It's nice to see the moon after a day of hard work. Kinda relaxing.

The last time I really saw the moon -- really and truly -- was the first time I really saw the moon.. because that was the moment I knew I had found my true love, and she was there with me, underneath the same moon.. which has never been the same since.. it is now our lovers moon.. always and forever together underneath the same lovers moon..
