Prince is one of the best artists of all time, he shouldn't be used in the same sentence as any Jackson. But I watch football and the commercials, I could care less about the halftime show.

The Superbowl is not only watched by young people. Understand that youth is a very small fraction of the total viewers worldwide. I know you hear this all the time but you'll understand when you grow up.

that is particularly glaring that as quickly as human beings age their voices age too. that is an particularly uncommon guy or woman who can shop making a music all their songs into previous age and you're able to desire to maintain it up each and all the time. Like Mick Jagger. Now the who's songs began out crappy yet as their voices warmed up the teach have been given greater effectual. yet the two leads gave the effect of that they had come down with arthritis. this may well be a type of performances the place you land up feeling sorry for them.

Older acts tend to be a lot more conservative with their performances (janet aside), and as such are less worrisome when it comes to hawking over their performances for FCC violations.

Younger acts are still trying to push the envelope and their performances often demonstrate that with things often seen as taboo by older generations.

It's rather sad when it comes down to it though. We have all seen a boob since birth, it shouldn't be a big deal later in life. I guess that's what happens though when a society is a socially conservative as our is. Go to Europe and you will see pleanty more than a flash of a pasty on Janet in public...

I agree. If the Rolling Stones lead singer knew how tight and horrible his pants were then he would stop. I think they should do modern day singers like Lil Wayne, Jesse McCartney, or some other modern band.

Someone told me it was because MTV can't do the Halftime show anymore so now they are getting all of these older people/bands. I TOTALLY agree with you. Nothing against these artists, but for crying out loud!! I sure don't want to watch Prince for halftime! What were they thinking?!
