History books say it is James Earl Ray but I have my doubts.
First of all he had enemies in the Army because of his anti-Vietnam cause. Hoover considered him a communistic rabblerouser and enemy of the state. There are several scenarios which say that Ray had no way toshoot King but that one is mere speculation. until it can be proven otherwise Ray killed King.
