White= European ancestry
Black= African ancestry
Yellow= Asian ancestry

There is no "brown".

Hispanics are considered white despite their tan colour Because they have Euro ancestors. . .via Spaniards, which in ancient times was known as Hispania. It was the Spanish conquistadors who mixed with the natives of South America as well as the Mexicans. That is what Mexicans are. A mix of Spain spanish and natives.

.....Ok for one I'm truly getting sick of all the race questions. I'm not talking about this question, but a lot of these race questions have stupid racist red neck white supremacists mouthing off about how blacks didn't invent anything and we're all thugs etc. (Yes it is mainly white people get over it....if it will make you feel better I will make a list of the racist people on here according to race. I know there are also the racist black folk and people of other races but it's mainly whites). Sorry about getting off topic a little but I think that needed to be said. Anyways on this topic.....Africans are black and so are Jamaicans. Asians are not YELLOW!! Japanese and Korean people (who actually live in Japan and Korea not America) have white or close to white skin. Other asian minorities such as the Chinese have tannish skin. Mexicans and people of latin and spanish descent are usually tan colored or brown. I'm considered "black" but my skin is actually light brown or tan if you will. I think we should drop the color labels and identify ourselves based on location like everyone in America is American etc.

to answer this question accurately i must tell you that there are three major races/colors which are :white, blacks, yellow
white :americans, british, etc.
blacks:africans
yellow:asians

even though many of us say brown as a "race/color" that is only but a slang or term used by ppl that do not know the above information. the ppl mostly refer hispanics to the color brown

however, hispanics are classified under white.
i dont know the source online but an old teacher taught me this in history

p.s. being under the category yellow, white, black doesnt necessairly mean that u are this color

I believe mexicans/hispanics are brown and I think maybe asians are yellow. But this is an awful form of racial stero-typing and I hate to sound racist b/c I certianly am not, but this is just to give you an answer.

the old traditional standard (if you could call it that) said that:
Africans - black
Asians - yellow
Native americans - red

i guess that leaves brown for hispanics/latinos.

but what about middle eastern people? they tend to be anywhere between brown and black in color, depending on origin.

what about "white/caucasian" people who tan easily? what "color" do they fall into?

who knows. shades of skin have no bearing on personality and intelligence and ability.

lets focus on those qualities instead.
