Most definitely. My wife had such severe anemia while she was pregnant with our daughter that if she had not been pregnant they would have done an immediate blood transfusion. She was taking 3 and 4 times the daily dosage of iron, yet her body was not retaining it. Our daughter was born extremely healthy, and at my wife's next checkup, her blood iron level was normal.

Anemia is having low iron. You can help that by eating foods high in fiber, iron, protein. Eat beans, they help.
I use to be anemic and was very sick, you could touch me and i would bruise! Take vitamins, prenatal.
Diabetes's never goes away normally you have to have a shot everyday for the rest of your life.

I don't see why not, the baby is taking nutrients from their mother and anemia is just a lack of iron. Are you taking a prenatal vitamin? That should help.

Yes. Eat red meats or leafy greens, or take a vitamin with iron.
When you see your doc, ask him to do a red count on your blood.
