When I was growing up there was a killer group called The Slaves, who had a few of their tracks on a surf movie called Billabong Pump - namely Poverty of Love, Carry Me Home and Have You Seen my Absent Wife Tonight. I was never able to get their CD - anywhere. Then I heard that they never got that album made on CD. Does anyone know if that is true? And also, if it is only on cassette, is there any way on earth get it into digital format?

On the issue of converting cassette to CD:

Put simply, you will need to connect your cassette player to your PC soundcard, then play the cassette whilst recording on your PC. A step-by-step guide is available at:
http://www.cassette2cd.co.uk/diy
The recording software is the key, there are some free software downloads available at:
http://www.cassette2cd.co.uk/downloads.php
I have used ‘Magix Audio Cleaning Lab’ and ‘Audacity’ – Audacity is particularly popular since it is free!
If you record to WAV format, expect file sizes of around 10MB per minute, or 1MB per minute for MP3 (at 128kbps).
Once you have your digital versions of the recording on your PC, simply burn them on to a CD (Nero burning software or similar..). If you use Magix Audio Cleaning, the software will burn an audio CD for you without needing additional software (assuming you have a CD writing drive of course!) or convert to MP3 (need additional 'dll' file to do this in Audacity)
You can also download a free PDF version of the step-by–step guide from the download page mentioned above, the guide is complete with diagrams and screen-shots.

nicely, the term is for the two men and females human beings, although that is used usually for adult men. case in point, some LGBT web content have the "gay section" and the "lesbian section" to tell apart between sections for gay adult men and sections for gay women human beings. individually, i've got continuously hated to be called a lesbian, because of the fact it jogs my memory of how that is linked with porn and how adult men think of of gay women human beings. I prefare gay. yet my pals do no longer innovations it. some even hate to be called gay and prefer the term lesbian. i assume it relies upon on the guy and how she perspectives issues.
