I think almost everyone has been down this road at one time or another. I personally have been down it more than once. I began college thinking like most freshmen, that I would hurry up and get a great job, get married somewhere in there and have great kids. Then I ended up landscaping for myself and it turned out to be huge for me and I did well by it - I saw myself doing landscaping for the rest of my life - I was making more as a 23 year old than most make when they are 50! But now I'm 28 and for the last few years I've been trying my best to finish up my degree. It's not the same degree that I started with and I've changed it a few times since I started back, but I have a little over a year left and I can hardly wait.
Everyone tells me that there's nothing wrong with landscaping and lawns, but when I get together with my family and everyone talks about what they are doing then they turn to me and ask what I'm up to these days and I tell them landscaping and lawns they say "ohhh, yeah, we have a kid down the street that mows the lawns on our block." I feel like it's time to move on. I'm sure that once I get my degree and have worked it for some time, I will probably want to move on and be a supervisor or maybe go back and get more school, or maybe just settle into a teaching position. Who knows. Some people are satisfied with the jobs they have, some are not but cannot do anything about it, others are not satisfied and can do something about it.

It's all a matter of what YOU want to do... just be sure not to change your mind so much that it gets to be problematic for you. Think things through and go for it.

Good luck, hope this helps.

Even the best plans don't always work out the way you planned. But that doesn't mean it is bad. As long as you are happy doing what you are doing. Do it! I attended school to work as a legal assistant. I worked in the field for a few years and now I'm going for a career change. Never to late to change. It's life, life is change. :)
