Tough call. I was a big Babel fan until I recently saw The Departed. So as much as I loved Babel, I think my Oscar ballot will have The Departed checked off as best picture.

Babel was a mess and Little Miss Sunshine was pointless. The best of the bunch is Letters From Iwo Jima, which means that it hasn't got a chance.

I'm hoping Little Miss Sunshine will win! The whole cast were really amazing. It deserves to get the Oscar! They've won some other awards, so it possible:)

I would really like for The Departed to win, because it was such a great film. But I think they'll choose Babel as best picture....which is such a shame.

I might desire to trust the countless different responders here. whether "The dark Knight" is up for ultimate photograph, i do no longer think of it's going to win. i think of that award is a lot greater possibly to flow to something like "The Changeling" with Clint Eastwood directing Angelina Jolie in an emotionally wrenching place consistent with a real tale with cutting-edge social implications. That sound greater like a common ultimate photograph %. from the Academy to me. "The dark Knight" would be up for some awards. that is going to truly be up in sound categories, possibly enhancing, actual makeup. i think of Heath Ledger gets a nod as ultimate helping Actor, whether he does not win.
