Are they ignorant and don't know the meaning of murder or are they just being mean. I mean it was an accident, meaning it was unintentional.

People I know that what she did was negligent and she should be prosecuted. I'm saying that she is not a murderer and people shouldn't call her that.

In my opinion, people are both ignorant and mean. The word "murder" means an intentional or premeditated killing. And I seriously doubt that Brandy woke up that morning and said, "I think I'm going to run into someone today." Get real people. It could have happened to anybody.

Accidents happen, murder is the unlawful and intentional killing of a human being by another, so although she is not a murderer, she has killed someone unintentionally, which is considered manslaughter (something which is unintentional caused by either criminal negligence or or unlawful dangerous act).

Even if it was an accident, she can be prosecuted. If someone were to accidentally kill someone you loved, would you be able to say, "just an accident" and that person have no legal punishment?

Her action, or inaction, inadvertently started into motion a situation that caused the death. Even if unintentional, her action started it and the DEATH was the result.

Cars are killers when not used properly...they become no less than dangerous weapons. No one has said alcohol/drugs was a factor, but if a drunk killed someone, do you think they are innocent even if they say they never meant to hurt anyone?

Whether sober or drunk, you have the lives of others as your responsibility. If you fail at properly observing your safe operation of an auto, you must accept the outcome as your responsibility. Intentional or not.

That accident could have been avoided, if she got her dumb @ss off the phone and was paying attention, she would not be facing manslaughter charges, and will soon lose her fortune, an dfor what??? Sorry so harsh, but celebrity or not, you have to pay attention, and if you want to chat instead of paying attention to a 3000 pound chunk of steel your driving, then you should ride the bus, call a cab, or hire a chauffeur. Its sad for both sides, but it could have been avoided..!!!

Because she is the one who hit the first car and started the entire 6 car pile up that killed that lady. Hello listen to the news. Who cares if she is a celeb or has money. She is an ignorant driver and shouldn't be on the road killing Innocent mommies. Dang.

Yes it was a accident but it was a preventable accident. She should have been paying attention, especially on the highway! And I also heard she never apologized to the victims family. She only gave a apology through her publicist. She never apologized personally to the family.

Yes it was unintentional but when you are driving you are responsible for what happens. She was driving and someone died as a result of her actions. Others have gone to prison for this but I doubt she will as she wasnt drunk or under the influence of drugs.

I agree. I think its cus she is wealthy and has been in the spotlight. You can honestly say that it WAS an accident. I wish they would prosecute and judge people that DUI and kill inoccent people as harshly as there doing to her.
